A change of lifestyle does not help relaxation either: longer days invite you to spend more time socialising, with inevitable repercussions on dinner and after-dinner times. Result? Not only do we eat later, but also the consumption of alcohol, the sworn enemy of good sleep, increases. By maintaining this pattern, it is easy to reduce the hours devoted to sleep and night wakings tend to become more frequent. It is undeniable, however, that the real culprits of summer insomnia are the higher-than-average temperatures: when one is hot, in fact, the body struggles to relax and remains alert convinced that it must stay awake to 'defend' itself from the heat.

What are the tips for sleeping well in the summer? Despite the difficulties, sleeping well in the summer is still possible. It is enough to adopt a few simple good practices such as, for example, maintaining a precise routine that always makes lying down at the same time a prerequisite.
